The Patrol Division

The patrol division is the backbone of the police department. It is comprised of nine officers which provide around the clock police service to our citizens. Each shift is commanded by a Sergeant. The Patrol Division responds to calls for service, enforces traffic regulations and provides basic police services for the town of Scotland Neck.


The Administrative Division

The administrative Division is comprised of Chief John Tippett, Captain Tommy Parker and Patrol Lieutenant Clint Smith. They oversee the day to day operations of the department, manage the budget and otherwise make sure that the department has everything it needs to provide the citizens of Scotland Neck with first class police services.


Animal Control - Code Enforcement

Animal Control and Code Enforcement consists of one officer that patrols the town of Scotland Neck and responds to calls from citizens dealing with domesticated animals and other complaints.
